
Sharan Allen\r\nMSN, APRN, AGNP-C\r\n \r\nSharan received her master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in\r\nAdult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Walden University with\r\nHonors. Currently, Sharan Is studying for her Doctorate in Health\r\nAdministration. Sharan was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau in 2014, an\r\nInternational Honor Society for nurses. She has been an Assistant\r\nClinical Professor at UTA since fall of 2020 for the Undergraduate\r\nNursing program & 2021 Adult Gerontology NP program. At WCU,\r\nSharan instructed the Advance Medical Surgical Clinical Instructor,\r\nMedical Surgical II Clinical Instructor and Didactic Medical Surgical Instructor beginning\r\nSpring 2018, initially at West Coast University. Sharan has over 23 clinical\r\nyears of nursing experience in critical care areas, held positions\r\nas a staff nurse (ER/ICU), charge nurse, versant mentor, nurse\r\neducator, unit and house supervisor. Sharan has had the\r\npleasure of becoming an author of A book named “Our Feet\r\nCarry The Message.” She has an identical Twin sister, which is\r\nalso a Family Nurse Practitioner and nurse educator.\r\n \r\nShe enjoys family time, daily Bible study, as well as reading Cross-genre novels that have a surprising twist.\r\n \r\n \r\nTeaching Interest: \r\n \r\nDiscipling the Lost, Nurse Practitioner Mentor, Critical Care of the Acute & Chronically Ill Preceptor\r\n \r\n \r\nRecent Publication:\r\n \r\nALLEN, S.
